Dr. Serif Krkic
Co-Creator
Dr. Serif Krkic is a valued member of the Tallmadge community, committed to holistic healthcare and service. As co-founder of Zēl Lifestyle Collective with his wife Amanda, he provides wellness solutions and actively supports local businesses through his involvement in the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Krkic coaches high school soccer and enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, and gardening. He lives in Tallmadge with his wife and two sons, dedicated to making a positive impact both at work and in the community.
Dr. Amanda Krkic
Co-Creator
Dr. Amanda Krkic offers a wide range of services, including chiropractic care, dry needling, functional medicine, and neuroemotional technique, focusing on physical, biochemical, and emotional wellness. Passionate about personal development and health, she continuously expands her knowledge through podcasts and books to help her patients achieve optimal well-being.
Known for her strong one-on-one connections, Dr. Amanda thrives on helping patients achieve even small victories in their health journeys. A dedicated mom of two boys, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and is deeply committed to holistic healthcare.
Mensura Krkic
acupuncturist
Mensura Krkic discovered her passion for helping others early on. After studying at the University of Akron, she continued her education in acupuncture at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus. With a Master’s level degree, Mensura provides hands-on care and continuously expands her knowledge to better serve her patients.
In 2024, she added cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling therapy to her practice, offering natural beauty solutions. Mensura lives with her fiancé Greg, their daughter Olive, and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and designing, all while dedicated to helping others heal naturally.
Dr. Lauren Dantimo
Co-Creator
With 12 years of experience as a pharmacist, Dr. Lauren Dantimo realized that traditional medicine often falls short in addressing the root causes of health issues. After a personal health scare in 2018, she took her own healing into her hands, embracing mindset shifts, stress management, strength training, better sleep, and whole foods.
Now, as a lifestyle coach, Dr. Lauren helps professional women move from surviving to thriving by breaking unhealthy patterns and creating purposeful, healthy lives. Her mission is to empower women to take control of their health and live with energy and intention.
Tina Price
Licensed Massage Therapist
Tina is a passionate and skilled massage therapist dedicated to promoting healing and wellness. Specializing in deep tissue therapeutic massage, holistic energy work, and sports massage, she customizes each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.
Tina also has extensive experience in prenatal massage, providing expectant mothers with nurturing care, helping them find relaxation and relief throughout pregnancy.
With a hands-on approach that blends therapeutic techniques and a holistic focus, Tina is committed to restoring balance, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. Her clients leave each session feeling rejuvenated, revitalized, and empowered to maintain their wellness journey.
Jennifer Ballard
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jennifer Ballard became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2021 after attending Stark State College, marking one of her greatest personal accomplishments. She finds immense reward in helping her clients feel better, move with ease, and improve their overall health through therapeutic massage.
Jennifer has a strong interest in advancing her career as an LMT. In the near future she plans to pursue and focus on sports massage to help athletes prevent injuries and assist in recovery. Outside of work she likes to stay busy. In her spare time, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, gardening, and hanging with family and friends.
Madelynn Rufener
Receptionist
Madelynn will greet you with the warmest smile. Originally from southern Ohio, she moved to Tallmadge with her husband seven years ago and welcomed a beautiful baby girl in 2024. Madelynn holds an Associate’s degree in science from Kent State University and is passionate about brightening people’s days through her kindness and positivity.
Excited to be part of the growing team at Zēl Lifestyle Collective, she is dedicated to supporting the mission of holistic health care and is optimistic about the future of modern wellness. Madelynn’s enthusiasm and love for helping others make her a valued member of the team.
Alexandrea Gray
Nurse Consultant and Wellness Advocate
After graduating from the University of Akron in 2020, Alex has spent her last 4 years as an ICU nurse at Summa Health. She is passionate about her work and dedicated to healing and uplifting her patients during their hospital stay. Over the years, she has become increasingly interested in preventative and holistic care, primarily to prevent unnecessary hospital visits and unintended costs.
When she’s not caring for her patients, you’ll find her cuddling up with her furry friend, Ember, and getting lost in a good book or TV series.
Alexandria Appeldorn
Nurse Consultant and Wellness Advocate
I’ve been a nurse for four years, starting out in oncology and later diving into the fast-paced world of the ER. Now, I’m excited to bring that experience into new ventures beyond the hospital walls.
Outside of work, I keep busy with Nola, my spirited Border Collie-Australian Shepherd mix, who’s a handful but worth every bit of the adventure! When I’m not managing her antics, you’ll likely find me immersed in a good book or trying to keep up with my boyfriend in the kitchen. Nursing is my passion, and I’m always eager to find new ways to make a meaningful impact.
Ashley Reese
Nurse Practitioner
Ashley Reese is a highly skilled nurse practitioner with over 8 years of experience as an injector. Known for her ability to blend cosmetic medicine with artistry, she creates unique, tailored treatment plans for each of her clients. With a passion for education, Ashley has trained hundreds of injectors across the nation, fostering the talents of manyin the field.
At Zēl Lifestyle Collective, Ashley is expanding her expertise into wellness and preventative therapies. She is excited to explore the powerful benefits of peptides, intramuscular (IM) injections, and IV therapies to help her patients achieve optimal health and vitality. Her commitment to a holistic approach ensures that each patient receives comprehensive care for both aesthetic and wellness goals.
When she’s not in the clinic, Ashley enjoys reading everything from mystery novels to medical journal articles, as well as spending time outdoors hiking and adventuring with her young son.

I’m thrilled to meet each of you and welcome you to our extended family here at Zēl. My passion lies in making your visits as smooth and seamless as possible and I’m always eager to grow and learn with our team to enhance your experience.
I began my career in the medical field in the early ’90s, took a rewarding break to raise my son, and supported him as he competed in sports both nationally and internationally. Today, I’m proud to share that he serves in our military. Outside of work, I enjoy adventures with my partner, Lou, and cherish time with my 2.5-year-old pit mix, Pumpkin, who keeps life playful. Family and friends mean everything to me, and I love spending Friday nights with loved ones around the dinner table.
I believe kindness is a universal language and that a positive attitude can make all the difference. I look forward to welcoming you to Zēl and being part of your journey to wellness!
